Mc Donalds is Fun
They say, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” Who would know this better than we, at New Horizons Child Development Center.
Hence, to make our Jacks smarter, we organized a trip to the Mc Donalds’ store at The Hub Mall (Goregaon, East) on the 17th of March, 2010.
The group consisted of 8 children who had been part of group therapy, siblings and children undergoing therapy. |

We all gathered at 4 pm at the New Horizons Child Development Center and went to The Hub leaving the parents behind to join us later. Children reached the venue and had a photo session. All of us ventured in and kids exchanged their tokens for meal trays. They stood in a queue, carried their trays and adjusted their seats too. That was wonderful! The kids had their meal, shared their goodies, clicked pictures and had a ball of a time. |
In the kids’ words, they wanted “…one more Max Donals time”. The parents joined us by 6pm while all our darlings waited patiently for their moms to pick them up.
At New Horizons Child Development Center, our motto is Child Development which happens in all areas of a child’s life. We have forged strong relationships with families in our endeavor to help them with their growing child. |

All that is good is not over yet. The best is yet to come… we are looking forward to organizing workshops, picnics and groups in the summer of 2010. More information is on the way… |
